METALOK360 Weldless Solutions
One of the main advantages with the 37° Flare & Retain Ring systems is that connections can be prepared on site, it is a total “COLD WORK” solution for pipe up to 12 inch for high pressure applications and 24 inch for low pressure application. Larger sizes are available up to 36 inch.
There is no source of ignition during the weldless pipe installation. If a repair or replacement of pipe is required then no plant is required to shut down, other than that system or pipe being worked on. The 37° Flare & Retain Ring systems makes installation very cost efficient compared to site Welding. METALOK360 can also fabricate larger size pipe, from 8” and above, using induction bends, standard weld fittings and flanges, including our end-to-end fitting solutions which are a combination of weldless and fully welded.
For Hydrocarbon and Gas applications we offer different sealing ring, seals and pipe joint profiles to suit.

Retain Ring System
The GS Retain Ring system is used for piping with a maximum allowable working pressure up to 350–400 bar. In special applications, the retain ring system can be used with working pressures as high as 690 bar. Extensive testing programs have shown the suitability of the retain ring jointing method for high pressure piping systems in a wide range of different materials ranging from carbon and stainless steel to duplex and titanium and all other quality pipe materials with an elongation above 20%.

The 90° flare flange system is used for class III piping with a maximum allowable working pressure of 16 bar. The 90° flare flange jointing method is suitable for low pressure piping systems in a wide range of different materials ranging from carbon steel to super duplex.
